With many schools beginning to wind down for half term, we find ourselves becoming increasingly busy as schools work to programme in maintenance. Along with cleaning oil tanks, we also carry out a number of oil tank removals at schools, following summer works to either convert to gas, or install new oil tanks / plant.
We work directly for a number of Local Authorities, Academy Trusts and contractors to deliver fuel and oil tank cleaning or tank removal solutions across the country. This summer we have cleaned or removed tanks from schools in Essex, Staffordshire, Lancashire, Yorkshire, Derbyshire, London and numerous other locations in between.
Of course this work doesn’t have to be confined to half term, the design and layout of a school can sometimes allow the work to be conducted during the school term. By planning our work effectively, we have managed to remove a number of oil tanks this year whilst schools have been occupied, with no disruption caused to lessons or school activities.
