FLOOD LEVELS 2016

It seems a long time ago since the floods occurred on Boxing Day in 2015. When the call came through that our waste transfer station was unreachable due to the high water levels and fast moving current, we knew the situation wasn’t good.

However as we mentioned in our January news update, we had numerous offers of assistance from family, friends, local businesses and Leeds City Council, all of which we thank for their kindness and generosity.

Now nearly six months later, we have been enjoying the comfort of our new look office for around 4 weeks. We’ve taken the opportunity to make improvements to the layout of the building, along with adding flood defences should this rare event happen again in the future.

We would like to take this opportunity to thank again those individuals that gave up their Christmas holiday to help with the clear up operation.
